Go to youtube and Search Galaxy usb jig. when in download mode odin WILL flash but,you just chose to reset.Try this link for tutorials ,may be this help you.

Read full dump via JTAG, reset phone.

Turn usb debugging off read full dump. Reset phone.

Turn usb debugging on read full dump. Compare dumps.

Maybe if Qcom based you can backup partitions separately with RIFF, reset device, and write user data containing partition in phone back.

Also took some empty phonebook device read full dump. Reset.

Copy 200 entries from some SIM card, read full dump again, then analyze.

mr when we root it via any tool as like tool name abc123 than we use boot key or magic cabal now fone is off no neede to usb debug mode on many fones after rooting usb debug mode on just ................................
just need to w8 after few weeks solution coming not same like coolsand .....
w8 and watch
if u r using via software rooting than needed must usb dubug mode on many software avail ......

no it is possible to format as well as on the debug in pt lock mode 100 tested by me of china as well tablet also

Use Volcano Tool version 2.4.4
