i8160p jroot didnt work, manually root and then unlock - GSM-Forum

did you check a 2nd time to use jroot?

cause in the beta, i use to small timeout and often it is rooted on 2nd try.
because application dont wait long enugh till jroot is executed and to fast delete it and when it checks for root, it shows unrooted.

i think in new beta its working (will upload it later).

anyway, 2.3.6 and that phone is not supported for that root methode.

but i8160 is supported for auto root (need to uncheck the jroot checkbox) then
it uses the jau auto root feature like in the official jau version.

EDIT: ok i see... its i8160P and not i8160.
thats the reason why you was not able to use auto rooting feature.
i will add that phone model for the auto root feature in next beta.

I am trying to use jau as much as possible, you are doing a wonderfull job and it has to be recognized.

reckon some of the reseller will be answering me.
