after Flash fbus Check ... it say security test failed .. but phone working good

When the flashing stops during errors... Does it hang for a while then give error
message or does it stop and show error message immediately ?

The time taken in 4th try is so less b'coz the phone was already erased in 1st try. ATF pattern of flashing is just like usb flashing. Erase required flash area first and then flash it. So if phone is erased in 1st try and one gets error in flashing, then in next try if flashing is successful, naturally the flash time taken is lesser. Actual flash time for 5220 & 7210c is around 5-8 mins and that too depends.

yes You are right .. i tested in another 5220 flashing time 8:45sec

hi!

can you attach the full log file so we can check
whats the problem why it stop during flashing..

Some reason why flashing stop caused by driver.

Simlock test problem will be fixed in next and pro version.

du u feel any speed difference while using ext power from ATF to cable ?

I tested on 3110c
N70
3500
etc...
satisfied with its performance in flashing....

Some phones like 7210c takes longer time to flash when VPP is connected
and External VPP is selected. Maybe this is the same case with 5220.

zeel_zeel is correct. Only erasing time takes too long on the 5220. The
flashing time will change only if you select 7.5Mhz or 15Mhz. However
the erasing time for 3Mhz is still the same time in 15Mhz.

We are really tempted to put side by side videos comparing flashing times
of ATF vs another 3rd party box but I think it is really unfair for the other
boxes as they only have 12 mbps USB connection (ATF has 480 mbps USB
connection).

For slow phones like 7210 and 5220, maybe you will see a small difference like
ATF will be 1-3 minutes faster...

But for all other non SLOW phones,,, the other boxes really don't have a fighting
chance... It is brutally unfair to compare.

strange i also need about 8min more to flash 5220 but when flashing 6303 only need 1min more, 3110c need about 4min more. Or maybe for 5220 alike need VPP from extension port?

Maybe this is the same case with 5220. zeel_zeel is correct. Only erasing time takes too long on the 5220. The flashing time will change only if you select 7.5Mhz or 15Mhz. However the erasing time for 3Mhz is still the same time in 15Mhz. We are really tempted to put side by side videos comparing flashing times of ATF vs another 3rd party box but I think it is really unfair for the other boxes as they only have 12 mbps USB connection (ATF has 480 mbps USB connection). For slow phones like 7210 and 5220, maybe you will see a small difference like ATF will be 1-3 minutes faster... But for all other non SLOW phones,,, the other boxes really don't have a fighting chance... It is brutally unfair to compare. Last edited by X-Shadow; 03-07-2010 at 04:30.

ATF pattern of flashing is just like usb flashing. Erase required flash area first and then flash it. So if phone is erased in 1st try and one gets error in flashing, then in next try if flashing is successful, naturally the flash time taken is lesser. Actual flash time for 5220 & 7210c is around 5-8 mins and that too depends.

Some reason why flashing stop caused by driver. Simlock test problem will be fixed in next and pro version. br ulymar
