@roger

Repair via USB cannot repair phones from WP problem.

You need to write 520 boot via emmc or via jtag connection.

Here you can download boot repair files for emmc or for jtag.

http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f609...735-a-1830880/

After you repair phone, tell phone owner NEVER to put 8.1 on the phone again.

WP 8.1 changed emmc driver CMD38 erase function and the changes are not compatible with the samsung emmc inside the phone.

@rogerboogie

1. Do not put 8.1 to recently Fixed Phone... You will kill eMMC Again. The flash file
you used is not 8.1... but it is very very very old.

TO Repair Phone, do following.

1. Connect via eMMC again and BACKUP 512MB of USER area to save IMEI etc. Use 15 Mhz so it will be fast. ( Less than 8 minutes )

2. Take note of eMMC EXT_CSD file that is saved when you click SCAN EMMC.

3. Perform "Firmware Update + Format"

4. Write Back EXT_CSD File which saved earlier when you clicked "SCAN EMMC"
Use "Write EXT_CSD Backup File" option in "Advance" section of eMMC Tool

* Make sure you see this after you write EXT_CSD

15:37:15 : BOOT PARTITION : USER AREA
15:37:15 : PARTITION ACCESS : R/W USER PARTITION
15:37:15 : PERM_BOOT_CFG_PROT : DISABLED
15:37:15 : PWR_BOOT_CFG_PROT : DISABLED
15:37:15 : BOOT MODE : x1 SINGLE DATA RATE + LOW SPEED

5. Repair BOOT again using same step you used via eMMC.

6. Remove eMMC Wires and Flash Phone via USB with battery that have more than 30% Charge.

* ALL FILES for RM-915 in Navifirm are ALL 8.0.
So download the latest/newest version and it will still be 8.0...

8.1 Officially comes from OTA for RM-915.
