n7100 emmc changed from i9300 emmc


hello team please help..

i was change n7100 emmc with working i9300 emmc.

direct emmc.
1. scan.
2. erase
3. smsung factory format
4. write csd backup
5. write user area
6. write boot 1.
7. write boot 2.

but still not power on. only red light blink on top.

my friend says i must write N7100_Rom2_Alive_Boot_BN.bin


can some one expalin to me how tow write this file with atf n where i can get this file. thanks

In fact - you do not need to rewrite IC in direct eMMC mode - there boot 1 and boot 2 can be used for N7100 and/or i9300 - so just puting your N7100 in download mode and reflashing via Odin / of your favorite tool / ( with pit checked or not ) with all 4 parts -> http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f777...100-a-1860706/ - from official firmware.

thanks for answer,,,

my i9300 emmc is 100% good. after replace the phone cant entering download mode, so i direct emmc with n7100 file (boot1, boot2, and user area)

any other answer will apreciate. thanks

100% good is something that is a far away from eMMC used in N7100 and i9300 ... so ... just to tell you - today i was try to repair boot !!! JUST boot !!! on powered on, but empty product name i9300 ... the eMMC CANNOT be connected - even to Z3x or ATF ... brrr... in fact i was open a working phone - checked both tools - they work, but eMMC = not.

So ...

Take a look over CLK and CMD lines - mostly they come damaged after eMMC change
