n900 cannot flash? - GSM-Forum

im haveing trouble flashing n900, when i click flash a box appears warning me that it might kill phone etc" when i click yes to continue nothing happens? i have downloaded the flash file and extracted it, but still nothing happens, fault with the phone is that it keep turning off after about 20 sec.

Hello!
First the fault looks HW damage not sw. About flashing error - please make a screen shot, this will help better.

did you follow the instructions on how to connect the phone with usb cable in flash mode?
