need help pinout connected ok but errorrrrrr - (SOLUTION INSIDE)


Default language ID 0x0409
JTAG Interface Connected, S/N 0xxxxxxxD4
Resetting and Exploring JTAG chain...No Devices found in Chain!
Loading AFP (Please Wait)...OK
AFP revision 4, compiled 4/6/2014 9:52:00 PM

Phone Type : Samsung GT-I8552
CPU Type : Qualcomm MSM8225Q
Storage TYpe : eMMC 8GB
Boot Package : Full Boot Restore
================================================== ========
1. Make sure JTAG Connection is 100% OK
2. Phone BATTERY should be CONNECTED!!!
3. Connect RJ-45 JTAG Cable to ATF Box
4. Connect USB Cable to the Phone
5. Click RESET JTAG button to check JTAG Connection
6. Click RESTORE BOOT button to Start Operation

2. Phone BATTERY should be CONNECTED!!!


This means you need to connect the battery to the phone at the same time connect the USB cable as well.

Press and HOLD the POWER button if your phone is still not detected.

I have tested these phones for a long time and I am 100% sure that It will be detected this way. That is if your JTAG connections are 100% ok, which i assume is.

I rechecked and I made a mistake in the PINOUT.

Please SWAP BLUE and YELLOW connection. This should fix your problem.

A Fixed version of GT-I8552_FULL_BOOT.afp was Uploaded today (May 1, 2014).
It now has the correct PINOUT.
