Hi, just to make things clear - ATF doesn't change IMEI of any Nokia phone.
It just repairs IMEI for DCT4 and DCT4+

Unlock a phone before the end of the contract with the company is also illegal, however, we do quite often!
ATF Repair IMEI in DCT4 reading UEM , and returns the Original Imei. - (No Change Imei.)
What makes illegal or not all processes, (is not knowing the origin and take the job. -)

ok now i have to say something , in turkey ( and only in turkey) if you don't buy a new phone with registered IMEI in carrier database ( turkcell; avea, vodafone) phone will never work !!!! , and for make your phone working again you have to register it with a passport and 60$ ( less or more a bit ) . for this situation people ask for illegal solution !!!!!!

Brother!
You can't change imei on BB5 phones.
Also for change imei you can change mainboard
Another situation:
It is illegal to unlock phones carriers during the time of contract.
A phone bought to an operator belongs to the same until the end of the contract.
You can not change the software or change settings even without authorization
Operator.
I know this because I buy phones in your country,
If you buy a phone from a carrier and lose or is stolen you can only block the operator of the same, not all service providers.
To block all operators only if the phone is free of Origin.
Best Regards
