Allready repair done this device, tried my Step:
Jtag methode will more easy, If your ATF not activated JTAG yet, then you can follow my Step:

1. Download firmware with correct Product Code by Navifirm Plus, save file in Product Path folder, rename it to RM-1030

2. Check your Product Code here, if your product code shows it V1, then follow these step 3, if not, then download emmc file v2

3. If your device V1, download this file, for repair via Emmc Tool

4. Follow this for add file repair via emmc tool, after select your repair file, you will see the Test Point, solder wires correctly

5. Just tips, don't use usb way when connect emmc TP, I have problem in connection using this methode, tried solder all wire with VCC n VCCQ solder too..

6. After correct solder, your device will success repair by EMMC tool, if connection take too long, just close ATF window, n tried again, double check the solder wire too...

7. Affter succes repair via Emmc Tool, then you can flash firmware you download in first step

8. Just tips, make sure your battery charge at least 50%, while you click flash button, hold Vol down + power, then connect via USB..

Hope it can help you, good luck...

When you have JTAG activation, just update your boot file, via Tab Help, update, n just click "check Updates", you'll see all the file you need, include nokia xl rm-1030 v2 too...

When connect using jtag, just tips, make a wire as short as possible...

Tried using wire only

Or, just make your own rj-45 cable

Good luck..

Try using EMMC TP, like I said in 2# post.. Download all required files, n follow my Pict...

1. Open EMMC Tool, click write, n select Full Boot file, then you'll see where to solder wire

2. After solder TP, connect adapter to rjp45in, then repairing will automatic running

3. Now, disconnect devices, assembly n flash it

Flashing firmware

N... All Done

Good Luck....

It is not for this model. Only for Nokia X2. Other phones which take 9008 driver must be done via JTAG.
