Nokia 610 Unlocked - sim not valid - - GSM-Forum

Hello.. ive done more than 15 nokias lumia 610. this phone I just did asked me for the pin code. I inserted it. pin accepted.. reboots.. and shows me the new company for 2 sec and goes to no service... reboot and shows on top left the no valid sim card icon. but doent ask me for the pin code anymore.. under settings 3g data. says sim not valid.. any idea whats going on ? phone works with its original sim card

First time phone asked for pin. and it was accepted ..seems to me the phone is not unlocked but it doesnt ask for pin anymore

Lumia phones that are locked to specific network will ask for PIN/PUK code. If it is not asking, then it is NOT LOCKED anymore. And as you already entered unlock codes. So it should be unlocked now. SIM card not valid must be some other problem and not related with unlocking.

Any idea what could it be? im trying to flash the phone and atf give me an error . i dont have the log.. ill post it later

At first i thought it was.. but its original company works perfect. but the thing is. the phone shows invalid sim card. so it has nothing to do with black list if the phone does not accept another's company sim card

Maybe that phone is a 610C? Check RM-xxx and exact model
Number.

What operator/service provider was it locked to originally? Does it still accept original operator's sim?

Nokia 610 rm-835 locked to telcel mexico.. I've done at least 10 of them .. never had this issue before. and yes the phone accepts its original operator's sim card. and shows invalid sim card icon on top when i put other operator's sim card..

This maybe related to AMSS partition of phone. Are all phones you unlocked have the same version?

Try to flash phone and enter the same unlock code again.

Hello again.. i just did another 610 from telcel mexico.. and did the same.. i flashed the phone with another's company and nothing, i put the code .. code accepted. and no service. can some 1 help me pls
