Hi,

I need to change colour on Lumia 520 software.

If we flash generic flash then phone still defaults to yellow colour at start up. This phone us yellow from Nokia factory. Can we make it have same software as black / white phone?

Did you flash with other Product Code flash file which is Black/Orange ?

Yes, we did. We flash with many other product code flashes.

It seems on the yellow and blue phone the colour is actually programmed into phone and flash does not overwrite this.

Nokia Lumia 520 hard reset Windows Phone 8

1. Turn the power Off.
2. Press and hold the Volume down and connect the charger or the USB cable with PC, for about 8 seconds, you will see an exclamation mark (!) on the screen. Note: If you do not press any of the following keys, then the phone wp8 will starts boot normally.

Then press the keys in this exact order:
1. Volume up
2. Volume down
3. Power
4. Volume down
few minute wait restart mobile

Abul, we tried flash it with many product codes. We try hard re-set also.

The yellow phone always power up with yellow theme start up and yellow apps.

Does anyone know anything more about this?

The situation is after any flash, Lumia 520 yellow and blue original stock still have default yellow or blue themes and accents on start up.

I believe the flash sets them as default because the phones product code has not been changed.

Can anyone confirm this?

Can the product code be changed?
