Have one same device in my handle SM-G7102, this is from Thailandia and customer has Bricked whith Downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.3.

Origin: Vers. 4.3>>> G7102XXUANE2

Upgrade To Vers. 4.4.2 >> G7102XXUBNG4

Downgrade to Vers. 4.3>> G7102XXUANE2

Have tryed with Sdc create from fw SM-G7102_4.4.2_8GB_G7102XXUBNG4 V. 4.4.2 and Sdc from last India fw SM-G7102_4.4.2_8GB_G7102XXUBNH3 V.4.4.2
Boths sd card are not working, device not vibrate, no D.Mode..nothingh...

@X-Shadow,
want to try with eMMc direct TP, you think is more good to use the .mmc G7102XXUBNG4 or write direct last that you has uploaded the .mmc G7102XXUBNH3??

Is strange becouse also is Qualcomm how the N9005 (that had restored all with sdc) this device id totally Dead.

Hi,

There are other issues involved.

1. How did customer update to 4.4.2, via OTA or via ODIN ?

* If via ODIN, does he have specific FLASH FILE which he used to update to 4.4.2 ?

2. There is clearly another issue involved here, and it looks like it is not entirely about BOOT versions alone. I have some ideas now what else needs to be done, but I need some time to test it. Seems too many SM-G7102 dead phones are piling up in Samsung service centers. When I purposely killed mine via downgrade, they gave me a brand new mother board 5 days later.

Him have updatate via OTA the V. G7102XXUBNG4, not with Odin.

Customer had need to return this G7102 in Thailandia and has downgrade to original version that was in device the 4.3 G7102XXUANE2 but obvius it's dead...

Yes, i have read and reported that in Samsung center are changing to many peoples directly the Pcb w/o 1€... and also at same moment, but i have reported this to my customer and him (not know Why), want test to repair this in any mode and send other time in Thailandia, it's all.

What think, flash this with .mmc G7102XXUBNG4? or think that is more good Last India version G7102XXUBNG7??,

There are currently 4 version of BOOTLOADER on SM-G7102 Kitkat 4.4.2...

G7102XXUBNG4
G7102XXUBNG8
G7102XXUBNH3
G7102XWUBNH1

You can download flash files via:
Firmware archive | Samsung Updates

Now try first, 1 by 1 to make SDC File for each of the 4 versions...

If nothing works, then that is the time you move to .mmc ...

not have need of wait me, just click in above link of "Samsung Firmware", download 4.4.2 version of G7102XXUBNG8 and G7102XWUBNH1 and from Atf Plus Tabulate>Create Immage, make sdc file for write in sd card, it's all.

I've work in my shop and I do not know when I have a bit of time to create them,
anyway who creates them before share it.

Sir,
Samsung G7102 dead after downgrade flashing. I tried with available SDC files but not luck. I tried to create SDC file with PDA single file but software is asking pit file I searched full firmware not available anywhere.

Please if have any SDC file for Indian firmware upload.

This is Indian Firmware "G7102XXUBNH6"

1. What is ORIGINAL FIRMWARE VERSION before phone was DOWNGRADED ?

Please do not tell me 4.4.2... I need specific answer like "G7102DXUBNH1" which you can see in "Settings" ---> "About Device"

2. What FLASH FILE did you use to KILL PHONE?

3. What ODIN Version did you use to KILL PHONE?

So also for additional INFO...

1. For SM-G7102, you must ONLY USE 8GB SD card for SDC Repair

If you use 2 GB SD Card... it will not work
If you use 4 GB SD Card... it will not work
If you use 16 GB SD Card... it will not work
If you use 32 GB SD Card... it will not work
etc...

SO you understand what I am saying here?

I have SM-G7102 phone with me now and I found out that this phone is very easy to repair if only end users will follow instructions about how to repair phone. 90% of the time, they do not follow instructions.

@X-Shadov, i've created all Sdc file from all 4 Version of Bootloader, but i've write all in Sd Card of 16GB, not have used 8GB card, i've repaired N9005 Qualcomm with 16GB card and file was for 32GB but had woked w/o issue.

So, you think is more good that i test with 8GB card first of open and repair with .mmc file?

Yes, you should try a BRANDED 8GB Memory Card (NOT CHINA CLONE BRANDLESS).

Like San.Disk, or Samsung should be OK.

Download this SDC file which allows you to write to 8GB card:

SM-G7102_4.4.2_8GB_G7102XXUBNG8.sdc

I tested this FILE on my SM-G7102 which I purposedly killed via DOWNGRADE from 4.4.2 to 4.3 ...

After phone enter DOWNLOAD MODE (VOLUME DOWN + HOME + POWER) click VOLUME UP to proceed, then remove SD CARD from phone.

This is very important STEP to remove SD Card from phone...

*** IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE SD CARD FROM PHONE, YOUR PHONE WILL STILL BE DEAD AFTER FLASHING ***

SO maybe you ask me, how will I remove SD CARD from phone without removing battery????

Brother, try it first by yourself before you ask questions

)) You will see that you can remove it easily without removing battery...

So flash phone with G7102XXUBNG8 firmware and make sure you also select PIT File and put a Check on "Re-Partition" on ODIN v3.09

Today, maybe I will make full tutorial for this...

Also, we can do eMMC repair using just 4 wires and no power supply needed... but we don't really need this, SDC is enough to repair this phone.

well i have spent 2 weeks researching this issue and finally fix all this Damn G7102 issues really thanks for your time helping customers .
anyway you help me on sonork first time i face this (if you remember )

1. 16 GB card works fine (glass 10)
2. All G7102 phones works fine with me with this (creats SDC card from This )G7102XXUBNH3_G7102ODDBNG7_G7102DDUBNG1_HOME.tar
3. if card not work direct must do as i say exactly (Step By Step) open phone board and connect it to power supply press on CMD shown in X-shado pic then put card inside phone .. after this phone should works fine.
