Read Flash Nokia - ATF - GSM-Forum

Hi, I want to purchase the ATF for purpose of dumping a firmware from a handset and reflshing to other identical ones.

Some questions:

1. What does the read flash dump file look like from a Nokia S40 BB5? Do you get the mcsw/image/ppm, or is it a different format?

2. GSM Road Runner replied on another post that this is fine as long as root hash are the same. Is this a straight forward procedure? Anyhting I should look out for before attempting this?

Dump is in .bin format & you cant flash back again . Purpose of DUMP is ti recover data ( Phone book , gallery , simlock ) as per the phone type
