Step 1: Select Between CWM Recovery or TWRP Recovery

For CWM Recovery:

Step 2: Flash the Recovery Image using ATF

Step 3: There is no Step 3, you are Done!

Question: What is Custom Recovery For?

Answer: It is for Flashing Custom Firmwares to your Nokia X via Recovery ZIP Installer

Question: Are there any Custom Firmwares available for Nokia X?

Answer: Yes, there are at least 3 which are working...

Question: Where can I download Custom Firmwares for Nokia X?

Custom Firmware , CWM (ClockworkMod) Recovery TWRP (TeamWin Recovery Project) Recovery etc. will void warranty!!

So use all this your own Risk!

Yup, and to UN-VOID Warranty, just FULL Flash phone with Official Nokia Flash Files... Specficially the +KERNEL and +RECOVERY partitions

Is Phone must be Rooted for Custom Recovery for Nokia X ?

No.

Phone does not need to be rooted.

You can flash cwm or twrp to a stock phone.

Lol, yes you need to have ATF box that you can use the software ;-)
