@F-Buzz

Because I did not release any info on how you can connect directly to eMMC of a dead I9300...

For ATF, the technique is different...

1. You need 2.8V and 3.3V + 2 pieces 100 ohms resistor (1/4 watt)
2. On Phone PCB VCC and VCCQ, connect 2.8V (YES BOTH 2.8V)
3. Connect 100 ohms resistor to CMD as a pull-up resistor to 3.3v
4. Connect 100 ohms resistor to DATA as a pull-up resistor to 3.3v

On eMMC Tool, select eMMC Adapter + 7.5Mhz + 2.80v (Actually this is default setting)

Then now you can read eMMC when still on dead phone PCB.

@F-Buzz

Yes, DATA0 on Adapter...

First check if resistor for CMD is already enough to make eMMC detect...

If all OK, then no need to put on DATA0... in my case, I did not need to put.

@F-Buzz

If they are Plain Binary Files, then

ROM 1 = ATF USER AREA
ROM 2 = ATF BOOT1
ROM 3 = ATF BOOT2

I have N7100 and I9300 dumps for Bnew eMMC.

I will upload it in 4shared after sleeping...

Already uploaded here:

eMMC REPAIR FILES by d18.builder - 4shared

You will find BOOT1 + BOOT2 + 1GB of USER AREA.

This is enough to make Phone Work. Just need to flash with ODIN and change IMEI with other tools... But you already know this

@F-Buzz

Nice, but 34 minutes for 1 Gig is slow.

If you trust your soldering is 100% good or your emmc adapter is 100% OK, then change speed to 15Mhz instead of 7.5Mhz.

If all ok, 1GB should just be less than 12 minutes

Also I noticed your eMMC is very old firmware version.

Do you have extra time to dump firmware for me if I give you exe that will allow you to dump emmc firmware? I need this for my research.

Good job
