Have here Htc T-mobile Shadow for unlock but cannot connect properly with active synch because unit has device password. Any solution in removing device password. Tried hard reset but cannot get black screen menu for reset.

Are u using this proceder to do Hard Rest ?

Code:

Power the Shadow off

Hold down the two soft buttons (The two right under the  screen)

While still holding the two soft buttons, turn on your device

There should be a quick menu that pops up asking if you want  to reset it. Say yes, let it reboot.

It will then start restoring your phone to defaults

Normally it should remore the user code. but if it doesn't help , then we should wait for any HTC expert to solve ur problem.

you are not doing a hard reset then.

do a hard reset and you will get a factory default HTC.

Problem solved hard reset done just timing in pressing the keys.
