i am new user huawei modem
my huawei modem nu e1550

here's the guide...


E1550 SUN modem,,,unlock done by code sa mxkey..

TOOL
mxkey

PROCEDURE:

open mxkey>select nokia usb rom>connect>option>huawei unlocker>click E1550>
look at the imei that is at the usb modem>
put imei code to imei (15 digits then click calc code,
look at the pic below..






now open sun broadband wireless,a box will pop up,then inter the code..



CONFIGURATION SETTINGS:

For Smart:

Go to: Tools > Options > Profile Management > Dial-Up

FOR SMART BUDDY SIM:

Profile Name: Smart internet
Dial Number: *99#
Static
APN: internet 
go to "Advance" and choose "PAP"
then Save.

FOR SMARTBRO SIM:

Profile Name: SMARTBRO
Dial Number: *99#
Static
APN: smartbro
go to "Advance" and choose "PAP"
then Save.

Quote:

(activate your Smart sim for internet use) To activate, type 3G ON and GPRS ON send to 333, MMS ON send to 3401
To check your balance & activate Per Minute Packages*
Register at smart website: Smart Account

For Globe Prepaid:

Go to: Tools > Options > Profile Management > Dial-Up
Profile Name: Globe Visibility or Globe Tattoo
Dial Number: *99***1#
Static
APN: http.globe.com.ph
then Save.

For Sun Prepaid:

Only old Sun Sim will work, does already been use in phones and accessed Internet in cell phones..
If buying new Sim, use SUN WIRELESS BROADBAND Sim (SWB) available in SUN Shops (prepaid & postpaid Sim pack)

go to "Advance" and choose "PAP"

Dial: *99#
Choose: CHAP

GLOBE settings:

Profile Name: Globe
APN: http.globe.com.ph
Dial: *99***1#
Choose: PAP

SUN settings:

Profile Name : Sun
APN:minternet
Dial: *99#
Choose: CHAP

Note: then save
