Need Help with Windows 7 and Axebox [ANSWERED] I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate. I followed the install guide for Axebox where I downloaded and installed WMDC 6.1, I then Downloaded and installed axebox, followed by installing AxaltoAccessClient. However, no matter what I do, no phone that I connect to the PC, is ever detected by Axebox. When I look in device manager I see a heading for an "ADB Device" not android and under that heading it lists it as Android not HTC. no matter what I can't seem to get Axebox to see the phones, so could someone walk me through connecting a phone to Axebox Under windows 7 one step at a time?

Any phone so far, but the only ones I've had handy thus far have been an HTC G1, an HTC G2, and I don't know what the other phone that someone else tried was. In all cases, we get no device found errors.

Ok, I found a Tilt2 and tried to connect that one, and it connects perfectly. But when I go to try and do a Sim Unlock, It boots the phone to the rainbow colored screen, Then to a grey screen with a progress bar, and then it proceeds to sit at 0% on the PC and phone until it says that an error has occured.

And this is correct why not use search button in this section ?? Android phones like G1 is not supported and with android mean can't find it with axebox. About secound phone was write lots time that first you need do CID UNLOCK after SIM UNLOCK and after phone turn in tricollor screen must disconnect usb cable from phone to 2-3 secounds and connect it again when you do cid unlock(this is bug with old htc phones on windows mobile system and we can't fix this). All this was writed about 100x times on this section but like all newbei you can't use search button or even read faq topic you must ask the same 101x times. | |

actually I spent an entire day searching, browsing and checking the faq on this forum before I made that post. I didn't find anything documented that came up in any of my searches that told me that. Thank you so much for assuming that I was a lazy pos who doesn't try to look things up for himself first.
