Not a problem as such more an irritation but at the bottom of the forum the on line users used to be listed in alphabetical order now they arent and its a pain searching for people is there anyway i can set it to show them alphabetically again.

Congratulations and we all are very much grateful to you for such a marvellous effort.

The MOST new things i had liked:
>> The PDF version - Very much easy now to store a thread in full.
>> In quick reply "Formatting" is also supported. A true "QUICK" in all senses.
>> Multipaged threads - NOW it is very much convenient to reach the desired PAGE at one go.

>> Instant notification - "Submitting reply - pl wait" etc. - this enable us to wait a little bit more which saves us from posting twice the same reply.

>> RECENT EDIT - posting edit area now opens in post's area itself...... it is amazing. No new big window or page now being loaded... VERY cool !!

>> The caption at top - which briefly describes the nature of that particular section.

U really deserve many things. ONLY thing now i can offer is - my hearty THANKS.
regards.

PS: Many features are not compatible with opera 8.5, which are widely supported by IE.. i think if FORUM can become more opera friendly !! NOT a demand.. but an humble request.

I´ve waited for this question
New Thread/Forum Read Marking Type
Database (automatic forum marking) - this option uses the database to store thread and forum read times. This allows accurate read markers to be kept indefinitely. However, in order for a forum to be marked read when all threads are read, the user must view the list of threads for that forum.

Old system was so:

Inactivity/Cookie Based - once a user has been inactive for a certain amount of time (the value of the cookie timeout option) all threads and forums are considered read. Individual threads are marked as read within a session via cookies.

Maybe I can add an addon and user can select the "marking system".
It´s now on todo-list

There is also an option on end of the site "Mark Forums Read", maybe this help for the moment.

@Zfrank,

Thanks you very much for theis update and for your great work.

i tried to do a search for a two word problem like "T610 dead" and the search came back with about 70 pages, majority of which were irrelivant to my problem.

Keep the good work going. Thanks.

This is not good.
I change search settings in the next days.
You can go to "search" --> "advanced search" --> then "search type" and activate "Boolean"

Now you´ve and "AND" search and only "13" sites for keyword "t610 dead"

Like the new search feature when searching for user

You begin to type each letter and a dropdown list of all users appearsand keeps narrowing down as you type more

Great stuff zfrank. Keep up the good work!!

Want to donate, but dont see paypal buttons any longer?

Irritating Again

@zfrank
Forum Is Great. But The Most Irritating Problem Is That You Have To Sign In Again If You Are In-active For 30 Minutes As If There Is A Cache Cleaner Working. Hope Taht This Will Be Fixed. Have A Nice Day.
