The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.

I have a question. I lost a T-mobile Sim card. If I buy this card, will it function exactly as a T-mobile Sim after I have worked on it using the Toolkit

Or do I connect to Onesim servers any time I use my phone to get a T-mobile service.

My alternative is to buy a replacement sim from T-mobile. Will this work the same?

Yes i would work similar to a T-Mobile sim just for activation purpose.
