Yes you can use it for google phones, already mentioned in the post.
This sim will act as a original sim.

for tetherd 3GS boot : How to Jailbreak Your iPhone [3.1.2, 3.1.3] Using Spirit

here you need the original carier sim card , lets say the phone come from orange france and you don't have the orange france sim card so you will not be able to jailbreak the iphone

here it comes the magic of one sim it works in all iphones 2G, 3G, 3Gs it replave any carier sim .
