| WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I did it Wow let me know if someone figured this one out before. I had both backlight test pionts totally gone along with the components. I ran a wire from the 109b ic to to the lcd pin in the red line. but i had no idea what to do for the green line. i scraped around but what i found was directly below where the tp89 was ... I scraped away and found copper so i took a shot and ran a wire from it to the lcd pin that the green line went to and it worked. So I'm charging it up right now wnd I'm going to check it all out to see if everything works. if it does. next time i will just scrape the TP 89 untill i find copper and use that. Yea Boye I would have taken a picture but i but it back it and it works so in it stays. Tinner |

| AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH CRAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP Yup I was checking everything out last night and found...... no brightness adjustment. So any hazard in leaving it as is? This board had the three components around the test points one on the red line and two on the green I scraped all around the tp89 and it was copper everywhere except the path to the first of the two components on that one. So I'm kinda stumped as to where was the path to the TP. other than scraping do you know what would take the blue off of the board and seave the traces? I have a scrap board id like to experiement with and trey and find it. Eventually. Thanks for the help PS Im going to try and upload a picture of a 4s wifi problem to another post i have. I found the missing part. I have the schematics ( your version) but as you know it's above my skill level. tks tinner |
