3g dropped and dead


my customer's iphone 3g was dropped and dead but when i connect to charger it power on with apple logo then turn off its self again... please help!

Bro, it's a battery connector issue. open it and check/adjust the battery terminals, inspect to see if all is ok with the terminals and resit all the connectors.

should fix your problem.

i have changed and check the battery already and i'm sure the battery connected to the logic board by using multimeter to measure it... what else can i do?

Check entire board with charger connected maybe some component is heating.

i noted that nth is heating... so i decide to change power ic but no luck... the iphone now can't turn on even i connect to charger... please help

Now check all coils if they generate voltages,mark in a photo & post which
have no voltage or more than needed,they must have 1.35V,1.8V,1.2V.

Before replacing the power ic, why dont you just take the board and put it in other working device? :-)

I don't fix boards, so this is what I do in first place

Also check big green fuse for continuity near of antenna conn,if open make jumper.

you have to change PMIC 100% it's a very known problem, i repaired many of them. do you have MSN / ICQ / Yahoo? I can tell you some measure points to confirm this problem.
