sorry, if I understand for desolder the CPU you have to bring in temperature the whole board ?
a bit risky ..

hello, i have a problem with my SHP, i cannot connect to the server and now i can use it, beause is "locked" on SHUTDOWN... i cannot make any operation. tnx

removing the CPU can be done with normal hot air gun but the problem is when you want to reball the CPU, if there is a machine that can plant balls on the CPU it will really help and speed the work.

Whole board will not change the shape. When Apple manufacturing using same way (Reflow Oven), As some people said this can be done by hot ari, Yes, can done , but SHP will working more stable and safe than Hot air, the temperature transfer way from under to top that can give CPU exact temperature, in this case , the RAM will not easy damage during operation.

I have this exact preheater and so far, the software for me is horrible. I need to reboot everytime i want to use it because it crashes.. Not very usable for me ATM :|
