all pro techs please help to test IC


hi guys im learning to test ic
i want to know when is good or bad ic

i have multitester
also i donwload Schematics

im testing 5s u2 rf ic

i have 3 questions

1.first picture
i want to know what mean this red lines

where is the volataje of the ic for know if it good or bad

3. how i need to put black and red arms of multitester for test ic if is good or bad
or how i need to put in pbc to test + - ground for test voltaje

I think that red line on the corner means the number 1 pin is there

all thick lines are power lines

use schematics to test the component it connects to like ( c50_rf 0.1UF 6.3v) if its good then it will have correct power voltage to that component from the ic

main power in is where is says IN PP BATT VCC CON

I am sure some one will correct me if I have it wrong.

yes is there is a 6.3v there then should be good for that part of ic, but each one needs to be checked for correct output, so 28 ref_byp should be 6.3v and cap should be 0.1uf give or take 20% 0.8uf or 1.2uf would still be good

ref_GND is ground

Bad could be no power or less power than 6.3 or more power than 6.3 or short

so on each leg check to see if correct output input

1.for 6.3v value
need to positive red cable in IN and black cable in 28 ref_byp for out and , right?


2.for capacitor 0.1 uf
need to positive red cable in IN, anf for out in ref_GND the black cable ??
