thanks for the report, i'm reading that some phones are bootlooping with aftermarket screens, goes to apple screen then loops back non stop after replacement. Even after putting on the original screen, it did not fix the problem. I just wanted to get more info if anyone else ran into this problem, i dont wanna break my customer's phone.

I think the issues are on iPhone 7 and 7plus only and yes alot of people are having this issue, it seems that some (not all) aftermarket screens cause bootloops and/or long startup delays

I'm finding new screens boot looping on iphone 7 whether it's aftermarket or refurbished IF testing without home button connected. I've heard that the 6s aftermarket screens will not allow touch ID to work with latest update.

I've noticed that iPhone 7/7 plus on iOS 11 need the home flex AND front facing camera flex connected to the board in order to boot

I just now had an iPhone 6 come in where the aftermarket screen would not work at all. The phone wouldn't turn on it with it installed. I checked with cracked OEM screens and it worked no problem. Phone was running IOS 11.0.3

Update:
Just had a iphone 7 come in with a password on it, did a restore on it and now its bootlooping, opened up the phone and realized they had a aftermarket screen on it. So i put in a OEM screen with the original homekey, restore it again, still same issue stuck on apple logo. Tried to backdate it to 10.3.3 wont let me
