Hello everyone

I see that some people have problems with ipads 2 when they delete r1205 on both models (gsm & cdma). Itunes recognizes their device like iPhones.

Did somebody have this problem and fixed?

I connect it to iTunes in DFU mode and it gives me error 4014. I have tried all basic troubleshooting as far as changing cables, different usb ports and different computers but all give me the same error. iTunes recognizes it as an iPad mini and I am using the iPad mini retina wifi IPSW (4,4) 8.1.2. yes, my iTunes is updated.

I'm not sure what else to do other than solder a new charging port but i honestly don't think that's the problem because it looks intact. Any suggestions as far as resistor issues or jumpers would be appreciated.

thank you.

This method works ONLY on iPads with 3G/4G/LTE and removes cellular from your iPad.
ONLY with sim

I'm working a little for Wi-Fi models but this method more difficult and I'm working alone with no help

Some of software methods work for first device reload or connection to the Internet. I don't test them because I don't have any Apple devices. (I spent part of money to develop these methods. The rest of money was only enough for a cheap Android.)

Some services can unlock wifi models through apple server - about $100-150. It's very expensive for ipad2

Also I'll try another more difficult method for them in the far future
