After WIFI replacement on Air 2 4G (4G to WIFI) to iCloud removal, now WIFI panel says the network is strong but can't connect, only if i'm near the access point.

Any suggestions, friends?

I have carried out the iPad Air 1475 Mod by removing the resistor R1506 it went clean no pulled pads.

It is now recognised as an iPad Air WiFi in iTunes which is all good, I have downloaded the model A1474 which is the WiFi version of the firmware and it gives errors 2005 on one machine, error 1349 on another and even u3tools fails at copying ramdisk at 20% .

Any ideas as to why this is not working? Could it be an older version of iTunes is needed ?

Picture of removed resistor.

Did you find the solution?

Clean your work, with air point needs to be very clean where resistor is removed... make shore nothing on board shorting, try restoring on Mac as well!

It was cable, tried 3 different ones and all had different resistances , bought a decent cable and flash done in ten mins.
