Member: 2380574 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Camera troubleshoot! Looking for some more help on fixing my iPhone 5 further. I took it to a repair guy who fixed the screen for me, but now that i can access the phone, there is another issue. The rear facing camera doesn't work. The LED Flash does work, but when i try to flip from the front facing camera to the rear camera, it goes black and freezes. I close the app, re-open it and it stays black and freezes. I've tried doing a soft reset, Updated to iOS 8.3 and clearing the settings, but nothing is working. I'm thinking, because of the LED working, it could just be a loose connection? Any help on the matter would be highly appreciated! Regards, Chris. |

Member: 2393796 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | change the camera see if it helps. which phone 4s 5 6 ? Loose connection and flash working maybe or the connector is broken, dirt in the connector, so many possibilities without picture of the area or testing area.. I have a problem that no cameras work and no flash looks like a ic u13 chip has shorted or one next to it, only going by what others have said on the forum as I have read through them, will have to investigate myself to see if the ic has shorted or there is another problem as there does not seemed to be any resistor or caps missing. without changing the camera itself which would be first thing if everything is ok and flash working means its getting power would be a good choice cheap as well. Hope that helps you. |
