Charge 3GS battery out of phone? - GSM-Forum

Is it possible to charge the battery externally. I have the battery out of the phone. I made a USB cable to micro clips for attaching to the 2 outside terminals of the battery. I plug the USB end to an iPhone 5v charger and hook the clips to positive and negative. Has anyone done this?

try with a wall charger with 2 clips.

That is what I am using a wall charger. Has anyone used this method before?
