Does iPhone 6+ LCD is replaceable?

Hello everyone.

Just little question, i've seen many peoples talking about changing the LCD of iPhone 6+ will make the home button stop working, and device will not open after for the error.

So, as you can see here, https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iPhone+...lacement/29710

At the '''step 32''', we have to peel the button flex (highlighted in red in the second picture), so does this "button flex" on the LCD are sticked to the LCD or sticked to the metal LCD shield ?

And does we can repair iPhone 6 Plus LCD without changing the original button, and make it work like a new, including touch id function?

Thanks
