Member: 2084949 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I also had the same 4013 error on my ipad for about 3 days until I finally got my ipad upgraded. ipad2 wifi jailbreak with 4.3.3 to ipad wifi 7.0.4 moved to another laptop, but got the same 4013 error. solved by: a) download and run TinyUmbrella b) clicked Exit Recovery c) used the ipad2 for another day, and charged the device at night time. d) charging ipad to 84% e) next day I uninstalled itunes f) then download latest and reinstalled itunes g) restarted pc h) opened itunes i) plugged in ipad, waited a few minutes. backed up the ipad, took bloody forever. j) held SHIFT + clicked the Restore button in itunes (after clicking the ipad button on the top right - don't click the eject symbol though). k) selected the ipad2 wifi 7.0.4 IPSW file that I downloaded from the gsmhosting thread #1511373 l) waited for a while.. I saw a BIGger than usual apple symbol appear and the progress bar cruzed across the ipad screen. j) all was done, now using a fresh new ios 7.0.4, note: I did not bother to restore apps. I just downloaded them from appstore again, it already knew which ones I had paid for. hope this helps someone else with this silly error message too. Last edited by nzhome; 12-18-2013 at 13:23. |
