ERROR 48 iphone 4s help apple masters


hi i receive a phone shows connect to itunes logo
i try to restore using ipsw 8.3 but error 48 promp is there any suggestion?
is this hardware proble? if it is what ic i need to fix?

please advice

i change flex usb charging
change usb cable
lcd
check if its shorted but no short in board
i remove the bord outside case and try to restore again but same problem any idea

Having the same issue, also 4s. Seems like hardware problem.

How did you do the restore? Manual shift click in itunes? Just pressed update? DFU? OTA?

This is what I have tried, > jailbreakqa com/questions/326649/error-48-when-restoring-in-dfu doesn't look good.

hi i also have a iphone 4s that i so adore but its sick with the same itunes error 48 ,dont be fooled its not the -48 this is something else and easy to fix.
the problem with our devices is the baseband NOR chip corruption and either has to be reballed or replaced ,this is why when you see the itunes restore logs you see fail to restore firmware and failed to restore baseband and guess where that gets flashed to ,yup the the so called baseband chip (qualcomm MDM6610) .here is a link that talks all about it . (the link is my title)
thats it boys and girls error 48 and the cause. i will be reballing mine first and get back with a yai or a nai, but for now thats it, hope it helped....
