Find My Iphone Question

Hi. I purchased an iphone in which I asked for the IMEI to check the icloud lock and esn. When I ran the imei on apples icloud activation lock check, it did and still currently says it is OFF. But Phone currently has find my iphone ON , on device. I cannot turn off without password. My question is, if I do a restore on it through itunes, will it not show an activation lock when I redo setup. Want to do a restore anyways. I contacted previous owner, but am just a little impaient and wanted to get this taken care of while I have some time. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Thank You.

I did check. When I enter IMEI on the icloud activation lock site it shows OFF. I did that prior to purchasing it. And it currently still shows that.

But Find my iphone is still enabled on acyual device and requires password to disable.

My concern is. If I restore through itunes will it ask me for the icloud password on the initial setup and activation lock the phone?. They may have removed it from their icloud. Just want to make sure. And that it will not reactivate.

Can you read the serial number of the iPhone? The try entering the sn in apple's iCloud lock check page. If it now says, your phone is locked then I would say that the seller changed the logic board of the iphone.
