Make sure home button ribbon cables has its components(resister, diodes etc) covered by tape, too. |

Member: 2349610 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Major problem guys.....I had two ipad minis to fix. I replaced the glass on the 1st one before i posted on here, and of course before i learned from you not to take it off. So because I removed the kapton tape on the 1st one, the ipad is having home button and sound issues. (of course the Ipad that i DIDNT remove the kapton tape works 100%-should have asked you guys first!) Anyways: I actually have a brand new -broken glass- digitizer with all the kapton tape still on it, like brand new. Can i simply take the kapton tape off the broken-glass digitizer i have, and then put it on the digitizer of the screwed up one (the one with home button errors+sound issues-the one i removed the kapton tape from) so that it may work??? Help!!! |

OMG really? Is there a most common reason for losing sound to the speakers? | |
