| Home Button always pressed Hi there My iPhone 4 Home Button isn’t working anymore. The mechanical part is working fine, I hear the click sound and the feeling is normal. But the Home Button is just not working if I press it. And sometimes the voice command appears (if you press the hold button for a long time on a normal working iPhone, the voice command appears) without doing anything. And if connected to the PC, the iPhone starts in recovery mode, I guess thats because the home button seems to be pressed all the time (but its not). Because of this information, I changed the Home Button Flex and the old one seemed broken (by eye) and I thought replacing it would solve my problem but it didnt!! Do you have any idea what else the problem could be? Maybe, knowing the gpio could help something but I found no info on google.I forgot to mention that the iphone fell in the bath, then cleaned with isoprophyl. |

| At the moment I would prefer to diagnostic the problem before buying more components. Anyway thanks for the sugestion. I have found the schematics and Im going to measure the signal of the button directly on the mainboard (on C227) with the connector disconnected. I will post news soon. |
