Hi and thanks for the answer,
Im still waiting for the u2 ic to come but i was thinking, do this ic can really be the faulty guy for my problem ?
I have nothing on screen but the iphone seems to boot, isn’t it a backlight problem ?
I checked the 3 caps near the diode and they all ok, i didn’t checked the diode itself nor the coil.
What do you think of it guys ?

I dont have any network problem, it’s a no boot phone with a short on vcc batt. I think i will try to find a faulty cap before desoldering ICs.
My problem is just how to find this faulty cap.

If you wish - put just light alcohol over PCB and keep voltage on shorted line [ with overcurrent in reasonable value ] - the damaged component will dry itself. Do it easy - with thin liquid film - use cotton buds about ...

Can i just connect the battery and try to power on the phone or do i have to inject power directly on the batt_vcc line ?
