same case

Dear Zummuz and Sem_g,
I see you have a good knowhow for that kind of problems...

Yesterday I tried to open Ipad first generation and I made a big mistake.

During opening the plug connecting logic board with on/off cable and on/off buttons I pulled to hard the plug and all wire pins disconnected from the plug.
Can somebody provide me a picture with separeted cables or wireing diagram showing each cable direction in order to put them back in possition.

I tried to figure out some scheme to explan better my problem.

Million thanks in advance and thousand of appologies.

Best Regards,
Angel

There are 4 controls on that connector:
1. power switch
2. lock/mute switch
3. volume up
4. volume down

In picture from sem_g from right to left:
1. power switch
2. GND
3. lock switch
4. GND
5. volume
6. volume

I don't know about 5 and 6 which is up and down but you can check.
Right now I don't have a opened iPad to check.
Put one control to ground to select switch.

Thanks a lot

Dear Zummuz,
Thanks s lot for your fast & prompt reply.

That means I have to connect both cables comming from power switch in to pins 1 and 2, counted from right to left, correct?

Thanks one more time,
Angel

Yes. But pay attention on the PCB that holds the power switch, the ground could be in contact with back-case or the screw. Don't mix the ground from main PCB with control pin from power switch PCB. Ground to ground and ctrl pin to ctrl pin. You can check with an multimeter.
Otherwise you will have a full-time power switch pressed
