iPad 1 wifi+3g not recognized by computer - GSM-Forum

Hello, iPad 1 3g 16gb. Not recognized when plug into computer. Stuck on the connect to itunes screen. Not seen by itunes and not seen by computer.
Charges just fine trough the wall socket.

What do i do? Replace dock connector ? (expensive part)

I know people want solutions for free i also want to go eat for free or to have an infrared bga rework station for free but that is impossible.
You can order ipad USB not work hardware solution for 15$ i will make it and post in sticky thread so other people can fix,i also can make no light proper solution,no image,no touch etc.

But first i would try other dock connector before looking on board.

I finally got the dock connector I ordered. Turns out it was the dock connector! Hooked it up to computer and got it working instantly. thx a lot!

Getting the screen off the ipad 1 suck though! Broke all the clips..
