iPad 3 Error 9 after update - GSM-Forum

Hey,

my iPad went to recovery while it was doing the update to 7.1. After that I tried to restore it through itunes, but it just quits at "waiting for ipad" with error 9. So what could it be? I tried many times. Should I just leave the ipad uncharged for a couple of days?

put in dfu mod then flash with itune

Sorry, I forgot to mention that. DFU is giving me the same result; error 9

hi, i have same problem with ipad 2, tried : usb port, cable, computer , unplug the 3g, noting fixes error 9. only thing left is the doc connector, will order and replace it, will give update after swap,. anyone else have an idea ???

this is ipad 3 3G ? if yes..try to replace flex Baseband

no i have a ipad2 3g, could it be the same part that has died?

probleme started with dead deffective battery, apple site said restore device, might help, so a tech did it, and because of dead battery, it failed., so i replace the battery and digitizer, but still get error 9, fail when contacting apple server. is there another software that i can use to update the firmware?
