yeap same 4r7 coil, ipad mini is really the same as ipad 2 ipad 1 is different is more like a macbook air it use coil 100 instead of 4r7 and require more parts. I would change the other parts first tho, IMO coil is usually the last thing goes wrong, unless you have water damage like in iphone, then the coil become the weak spot as well. | |

no it have to be the same or close value backlight filter. other wise you are risking of unstable light or burning out of the chip or it will not work at all. | |
