friend i think backlight ic is damaged
same details has ipad 2 IPHONE...IPAD... tested solutions for beginner technicians
also ipad 3 near power management ic

yeap same 4r7 coil, ipad mini is really the same as ipad 2

ipad 1 is different is more like a macbook air it use coil 100 instead of 4r7
and require more parts.

I would change the other parts first tho, IMO coil is usually the last thing goes wrong, unless you have water damage like in iphone, then the coil become the weak spot as well.

that ipad mini lcd is before backlight its working
wen i check Some new lcd backlight stopped sir
i changed ic and coil take From i pad 2 but same problem .. sir

ipad 2 under 2 def rend 4r7 coil big one is ok wear is the Small one is sir ?
bro her the ipad 2 pcb can u find the filter?

the small 4r7 coil is not for bACKLIGHT IT IS FOR touch screen you take that out your touch will not work

no it have to be the same or close value backlight filter. other wise you are risking of unstable light or burning out of the chip or it will not work at all.

I don't understand how a backlight coil or IC can be damaged just by unplugging it from the motherboard?
