Member: 533419 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 79 | iPad Mini dead, revive via change U2 ic History: dead set when brought by the owner Action taken: try first to restore it but no detection even try many cable still no luck, decided to open and try to recharge the battery in RPS still no luck, change battery still the same no reaction and no detection on PC, unit is not shorted/grounded but when you connect it with an RPS in 3.7v you'll get a 2amp, sign that its turning on but because damage U2 ic it will not turn on., so i decide to change U2 ic and got success... Screenshot: here's the part where U2 ic is located, change it... iPad Mini PCB here's what you need to change thanks to my friend i got U2 ic from him, credit to my friend ToXic...
