iPad power volume lock buttons don't work

My nephews decide to hate each other and broke their iPad 2 by smashing into the ground. So now I'm trying to repair it, and none of the power volume and lock buttons work. I tried to replace this, but made no difference.

Everything else works fine, and I'm to work the volume and power through this white dot on the screen. I cant link a photo of it, but it's not a common iPad. I guess it's a iPad 2 2nd gen CDMA, but a wifi only model.

My guess is that not the buttons that have gone bad, but this long circuit like board has gone bad. It's held to the housing with a powerful glue, and just above the battery. This also houses the front and back facing cameras, which oddly work find. Is there a replacement for sale for this board?

with a heat gun try to heat the back of the ipad where the motherboard sets, just not much heat just enough to loosen the grip of the adhesive, and check of any damaged connectors or something odd

Firstly you can find the model number on the back bottom of your iPad 2. If you still have questions identifying your iPad 2,
