iphone 3g microphone not working...?


hi,i got an iphone 3g which had the microphone that doesnt work,i tried to replace it with a new one but still it doesnt work so i was think that damage was in the motherboard perhaps somebody could give some working tips to solve this problem?

i found out that audio codec ic could be the problem if i change it i should solve the problem?

is this a 100% working solution?

100% working solution if you skill enough to change it, if not you will end up with a damaged iphone

Don't try to change IC options
1. change flex
2. change mic don't use any mic use it from nokia 1600/3310/1200 (100000% ok)
3. last just rehot audio IC

i have the problem with a 3g and the ic u are talking about isnt the same as the picture so perhaps u got a good photo for 3g?

hey,

I have the same problem with an 3gs.

I can you my phone just with my headphones, without headphones the other person can hear me.

I put a new mic that i've bought it from ebay, but still not working.

Any ideeas?

you change the earing cable (the cable include: jack headphone, power button, volum button, silent button). sorry my english
