Iphone 3Gs Charging problem, not charging module problem.

Hi,

I have a 3Gs when connect to the charging module, it does not detect the phone.

I have replaced the charging module, the battery is good so it's a board problem.

Wites gave a tutorial on shorting Q4 & Q5 (bypass) but this board is very different. It does not have Q4 and Q5. Most schematics avaliable is based on Q4 & Q5 model.

Hope you can help. Thanks

short question: what happens when you connect the Charger without battery and you measure on the battery + and -. Is there any voltage?

Was the phone dropped?
Used a "China-Charger" ?

Hi

It is not caused by china charger. It was a result of changing a low quality back housing that makes the phone very difficult to power on. (When board connected to the battery, the voltage drops - board shorting)

After many attempts, I finally found a good quality housing, and not this charging problem happens.

Using 2 charging modules, the reading is only 1.2 Volts.
