iPhone 3gs No Display/LCD

Hi,
I have a 3gs 16gb That only had a no backlight problem. Then it decided to white screen me. And went off, And has never booted up again since.
It is still recognised by itunes But there is NO display what so ever. I have taken some pictures of the rear of the board. As it looks like there maybe some parts/part missing. If anyone could tell me what is missing and where i could get the part from thankyou.

The schematic shows it as c270.It is a capacitor with 0.1 micro F.May be you can find it on other dead iPhone or any other phone.Ask Wites on this forum, may be he can suggest jumper ways.(My board do not have the same capacitor but it is still working with New LCD).Is your connector side Okay?Check that too.

Hi i do dont want to appear dumb. Because i am not. As i am pretty new to iphones. As i am used to fixing pc's. And i am also pretty good with a soldering iron! You said check the connector side how would i do this? and what would i be looking for? I have tried new LCD's but no difference. I have even tried the board in another working phone. but still no luck. It was working with no backlight then just white screened and went off. And it has never booted since. But it is still recognised by itunes and all sound works but no display. Thanks for your replies.
