Hi

Hi!! i had the same problem... The phone said imei and id unknow... I think it is impossible!! U have not broken your board and im sure u didnt solder well the pins 1 and 4... That dots you say arent important... If you have a tester check the voltage between that 2 points with the battery connected... http://i55.tinypic.com/2metqmf.jpg Do it on the right and left side of the capacitor...(the big one) if u dont read a voltage you are sure u have not been making a nice solder...

Check AD in the left and right side of the big capacitor

Bro this is your problem re solder this connector use some soldering flux your board is not damaged.
Use an rasp to make your soldering iron thiner/sharp.
After re solder clean the pins and make sure they not short.

sorry but I don't understand: what "big" capacitor ?
And you want to say : check the voltage from point A to the right and left sides of the capacitor, then from point B to the right and left sides of the capacitor ?

thanks for your answer

No... I mean check the voltage from the left side of the capacitor to the right one. I mean the big capacitor! Have you seen the schematis in this posts? There are 2 small apacitors and a bigger one! Im sure you only have to improve your solder... Pins 1-4 are the most importants because are the output of the battery.

Wites: thank you for your advice, I redid the solder and now I get 0.3

filiking : Ok, I just take the test and it's good: I find 0.3 to pins 1 and 4. But also I get this value by connecting pins 1, 2 and 4 with the metallic part. That bad ?

1-GND is ground it have connection with metallic part.
2-Yes you will screw it up.
Each pin must be separated from each other.
Post a good photo of your connector from top.

Gnd means ground... You should read 4V between that points... Check the voltage of the battery between 1-4 pin. Is it charged?

thank you for your diagram but I don't see where the false contacts may come from pins 1.2 and 4 ...
