in the rectangle is normally a 01005 SMD-jumper. you can make a jumpwire. Works 100%

please explain me for detail...this is for front or back camera?
i have iphone 4 with camera cannot open, so u can give me some advice?

pls read carefully! it's for the front camera!
and there is a small part that fell off sometimes, you have to bridge with a jumper, that's all! i can't more detailed!

It saved 2 iPhone which had this problem already.

part is gone on the phone I have. Unfortunately cannot make jumper, one pad is missing.
Is there any solution to make jumper?

@nafg: water damage? pls check this measure points first:

iPhone 4 Camera (back) measure points

when LED-Flash don't work, check the camera conector well or change the MAX8834 under the metal shield near the battery.

Hi, could you help me please?
i am having this issue with my iphone4... i tried soldering with standard solder, this 'pad', and camera got working for some seconds.. then i tried to put the solder more carefully and from then on i cannot make it work. besides, the solder keeps getting off the board.

i am not an expert in electronics.. only have a common soldering iron and solder, how can i make a successful fix ? can you give me some help please?

You can solder a jumper with a thin wire from some damaged speaker of some phone.
