iPhone 4 dead ( but not with usb )

Hi all,

I have one iPhone 4 there is dead.

But if I connect it to computer it turns on.

Now what I found out, is that battery PIN ( on logic board ) where we normally have 3.7 volt from battery, is shorted to ground ( 1 ohm )

Hope someone can help here... and give a hint what component is faulty

Best regards
HL

Did you even find out what was the problem with the iPhone 4? i have the same issue. When I check for continuity from + on the battery connector and any metal on the logic board I get a short. I check the battery and is OK. Also, all contacts on the battery port and capacitor looks fine. No sign of any broken solder.

anyone?

thanks in advance!!
