New to schematics and jumping. My iPhone 4 only charges when off. When off and a cable is connected it powers on which shows that it sees something. Just replaced the battery and dock connector so the problem most likely lies on the board. Thanks.

Can you try removing that 2 resistors, first with out changing it and then check the device?
If no luck.. Change it.

Thanks

hello i have an iphone 4 which does not power on. i dont know exactly what caused it. after charging the battery externally it just heats up the inductors near the pmic. i didnt find anything shorted. maybe the pmic itself has screwed?
thanks.
